ABOUT ME
My name is Scott Jarvis, and I have lived in Eau Claire for most of my life. Throughout my live, I have been extensively involved in construction projects, as well as numerous remodeling and finishing projects. I have personal experience in all aspects of home construction and have completed many projects that have passed code inspections by city inspectors.
I started Jarvis Home Services, LLC in 2005 as a well needed change in careers. I was previously a professional window cleaner in the area for over 16 years. I have enjoyed the challenges and satisfactions of owning and operating a business in a field that is always changing.
I have completed my home inspection training through The American Home Inspector's Training Institute, as well as yearly continuing education credits that are required by the State of Wisconsin for my yearly license renewal. My Wisconsin license number is 1764-106.
I am a member of the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors (WAHI), Chippewa Valley Chapter. WAHI is a not-for-profit professional association tha has an established Code of Ethics, as well as Rules and Bylaws that promote standards of professional conduct. I have been the Chippewa Valley Chapter's Treasurer since 2008. I am also a member of the Realtor's Association of Northwest Wisconsin. This allows me access to homes via the Realtor's Association lock-box system, making it more conveinient to schedule and inspection time and to enter the home.
